Raising Teens Who Talk to You: A Connected Parenting Approach to Adolescence
About
You used to be their favorite person. Now you get one-word answers, slammed doors, and the nagging feeling that you’re doing everything wrong.
You’re not. Adolescence isn’t a crisis to manage — it’s a relationship to navigate.
More than 35 therapists, coaches, psychologists, and parents share what actually works: why your teen’s distance is biology, not rejection; how to shift from control-based to connection-based parenting; and how to have the hard conversations — about sex, substances, and screen life — without shutting them down.
Through personal stories and evidence-based strategies, you’ll discover that presence matters, repair is possible, and you are still the most important relationship in their life.
No more white-knuckling it. No more wondering if it’s too late.
