No more "someday." No more busywork. No more excuses. Just you, your project, and a room full of focused professionals getting it done… this Saturday.
What You Need Is A Deadline, A Room, And The Time
To Actually Do The Work.
From: Ann Sheybani
Dear fellow writer,
You have a project in you. Maybe it’s a book proposal, a blog series, a keynote speech, or that newsletter you’ve been promising your subscribers since March.
You’ve tried to carve out time. You’ve tried waking up at 6 a.m. You’ve tried "doing it between meetings." You’ve told yourself you’ll get to it "this fall when things slow down."
But here is the truth: Things will never slow down.
The work won't happen in the stolen moments. It happens when you stop trying to "find" time and finally decide to block off the time.
That is why I created…
...Because Progress Isn't About Inspiration. It’s About Showing Up.
Give me just one Saturday, and I will give you a professional, focused environment that forces you to go from "I'll get to it" to "It's done."
Listen…
If you’ve already finished your manuscript, launched your blog series, or hit your writing goals for the year, you’re dismissed. Go enjoy your weekend. This space is for those who are currently stuck.
This session is for…
In short: if you know you have something valuable to write, but you can’t seem to protect the time to write it…
then this day is made specifically
for YOU.
I'm Going To Walk You, Step-by-Step, Through A Day Of Deep, Focused Work.
And NO, This Session Is NOT Going To Waste Your Time With:
Because to finish your work, you don’t need any of those things. They are distractions.
I'm Ann Sheybani, founder of Summit Press Publishers and author of Brick by Brick: The No-Nonsense Guide to Building Books That Get Read.
After earning my master's in writing from Harvard, I founded East Hill Writers' Workshop and later pivoted to helping entrepreneurs write books that do real work in their businesses.
I've guided hundreds of coaches, consultants, and subject matter experts through every stage of the publishing process, and if there is one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: People write when they aren't alone.
Before
After
For a day of focused, guided work, I could easily charge a premium seat fee. However, I am opening this up for FREE.
Why?
Because I know the world needs your voice, and I don't want a price tag standing between you and the finish line.
So, what are you waiting for?
The work isn't going to write itself. If you're tired of "someday" and ready for "done," join me for seven hours of focused, professional, high-impact writing.
Do I have to come for all seven hours?
No. Come for an hour, come for the whole day. We're not taking attendance.
Do I have to turn my camera on?
Nope. Do whatever makes you comfortable.
What if I'm not writing a book?
Totally fine. People bring proposals, blog posts, essays, marketing copy, keynote speeches — the full range. The goal is progress on whatever matters to you.
What if I get stuck?
There'll be writing prompts available, and I'll be on hand for questions throughout the day.
Is this a sales pitch?
It is not. You might hear me mention my book or my programs in passing, but the point of the day is your words on the page, not mine in your grill.
Do I need to prepare anything?
Nothing. Show up with a laptop, a project, and something to drink.
